A very modern distillery, Glenfarclas was last refitted in the mid 1980\'s. A Highland (speyside) malt, the entire range is aged in sherry casks.
Glenfarclas is credited as the first distillery to bottle a \'cask-strength\' single malt for the commercial market. This means that it is bottled strait out of the cask it is aged in, with no diluting (and chill filtering which usually accompanies the diluting to prevent cloudyness).
An amber-gold, offering delightful fruit, oak and sweet sensations, finish long and flavoursome.
Nose: Nutty and grasy on the nose
