I found that too.. it lingers with a spicy oak sort of taste, for 20 seconds or more..
I've been thinking that it is a perfect counter point for the previous month's Glengoyne, which was a tidy malty dram, in my view. Arran is a slugger of a malt, a heavy hitter. I'm really pleased that I've had the opportunity to taste this, not sure I would have tried it had I the choice
Very happy with the last few club malts in general actually.
